CEDAR PARK, TEXAS, May 19, 2015 – TDK RF Solutions has completed and handed over a 10 meter EMC chamber and EMC test system for a motor vehicle manufacturer's R&D center in Bangkok, Thailand.
Built in record time, this state of the art EMC facility boasts a 10 meter semi anechoic chamber with a +/- 2.5 dB NSA up to 200 MHz and +/- 1.5 dB NSA up to 1 GHz. Outfitted with TDK’s world famous IP series microwave absorbers (IP-130-BLB) and IB series ferrite tiles (IB-017), this facility is unique in Thailand.
To complement the TDK anechoic chamber, TDK RF Solutions designed a state-of-the-art automated EMC test system to perform testing on motorcycles from 20 MHz to 3 GHz for ECE R10 and other automotive test standards. Features of the test system include an integrated free roller dynamometer built into a 4 meter turntable and TDK’s RF shielded HD video cameras to record and archive test data.
